Can I book my stay at Spacious Place online? No. We do not offer online booking at this time. To book, simply check our online calendar to see if the dates you desire are available and then send us an email to get started on booking your stay. Once we have landed on the dates you want and the details regarding how many guests, whether you would like meals included, how many nights you will be staying, and so on - we will send you a contract with details and total cost.

How do I secure my booking dates with Spacious Place? A signed copy of the rental contract and rental rules plus a booking deposit is due up front to secure your dates. The booking deposit is 50% of your invoice total (booking cost + cleaning fee + security deposit). The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to booking. Payments can be made by check or Venmo. Please note that all bookings have a $150 cleaning fee and a $250 refundable security deposit included. 

Are the booking deposit and the security deposit the same thing? No. The booking deposit is 50% of your grand total that is due up front in order to secure your booking. The security deposit is $250 and is refundable after your stay provided provisions are met. 
 

What is the security deposit?

A security deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 15 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

     a. No damage is done to the home or its contents beyond normal wear and tear and items, including linens, sheets and towels are not missing.

      b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

      c. All debris and trash are placed in trash can and kitchen amenities (dishes, pots, pans) are cleaned and put away.

Is the booking deposit refundable? 50% of the booking deposit is nonrefundable. The other 50% is refundable provided you cancel 30 days or more prior to your arrival dates. After 30 days, the entire booking deposit is nonrefundable. 

What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. We offer early check-in or late check-out when possible for an additional cost. Let us know if you are interested in this option. 

What is the minimum number of nights I can book at Spacious Place? There is a 2-night minimum for all bookings. 

How many guests will Spacious Place accommodate? The main house can accommodate a maximum of 12 adults. There is an additional home on the property that can accommodate 6 adults. At this time, we are unable to accommodate children.

Is Spacious Place pet friendly? Pets are not permitted at Spacious Place at this time. 

What are the room arrangements at Spacious Place? There are 5 bedrooms inside the main house. There is an additional bedroom in an outer building a short distance from the main house. The rooms are configured as follows:
Bedroom 1: 1 King and 2 Twin Beds, Private Bathroom
Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds, Private Bathroom
Bedroom 3: 2 Twin Beds, Private Bathroom
Bedroom 4: 1 King Bed, Private Bathroom
Bedroom 5: 1 Twin Bed, Private Bathroom
Bedroom 6 in Outer Building: 2 Twin Beds, Private Bathroom, Window A/C unit

Is there a pool on the property? Yes, Spacious Place has a chlorine pool just a few steps away from the front porch. The pool is not heated.

Can we make our own meals at Spacious Place? Absolutely! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots/pans and everything you will need for preparing meals. There is an additional refrigerator in the laundry room out by the carport. Please make sure both refrigerators are emptied and cleaned before checking out.

Do I need to bring my own linens or towels? No. Spacious Place is fully stocked in this regard. Linens, towels and washcloths are provided. 

Do I need to pack toiletries, etc? Bathrooms will be provided with soap, travel size shampoo and travel size conditioner in case you need it. Each bathroom has a blow dryer so no need to pack one. Make sure to remember to pack your toothbrush, toothpaste, sunscreen, and bug spray.
